Living Hope International

Happy New Year from our family to yours! 

As we reflect over this past year and look forward to a time of new beginnings, we are filled with gratitude for the many blessings we’ve experienced and the support we’ve received from family and friends. A few days before Christmas, our family moved into our house in Bautar, Romania and began a new season of ministry. Our kids held parts in the church Christmas play, which they performed in two villages, and the three older girls and John memorized and recited Christmas bible passages from Matthew 1 and Luke 2 in Romanian. David shared sermons at church throughout the first couple days of Christmas, the following Sunday, and again on New Year’s Day. David & Catalina and Amina were also able to go caroling a few evenings with youth and couples from the villages while Grandma Maria watched the younger kids at home. Catalina continues to serve the family so well and found time to prepare large servings of food for the family and whomever joined us for meals.

Now that things are settling down from the holiday activities we will be planning and preparing with leaders in the area to best minister here among the people of Romania. Many of the pastors and (now adult) youth that I worked with years ago are excited to work together. Our hearts are eager to serve the Lord and to continue the work which He has called us.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are humbled by the opportunity to serve in Romania once again and are excited to see what God will do in the months and coming years ahead.

–          Pray for unity and collaboration with church leaders in the area.

–          Pray we find a good van to purchase. We may travel to Germany to find what we need.

–          Pray that we will receive residency cards in a timely manner.

Living Hope International is a Christ-centered non-profit organization that is committed to the mission of making disciples of Jesus in Romania and around the world. Our Mission

At Living Hope International, our mission is to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with people in Romania and beyond. We believe that every person deserves to know the transformative power of the Gospel and have the opportunity to become a disciple of Jesus.

Discipleship Programs

One of the key ways we fulfill our mission is through our discipleship programs. These programs are designed to help individuals deepen their relationship with Jesus, grow in their understanding of the Bible, and develop a strong foundation of faith. We offer various discipleship programs for people of all ages and backgrounds, including:

• Discipleship classes for adults
• Youth discipleship programs
• Children’s discipleship classes

Through these programs, participants have the opportunity to engage in Bible study, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. Our goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live out their faith and make a positive impact in their communities.

Community Outreach

In addition to our discipleship programs, Living Hope International is actively involved in community outreach initiatives. We believe that serving others is an essential part of living out our faith and demonstrating the love of Christ. Some of our community outreach activities include:

• Providing food and clothing to those in need
• Offering educational support to underprivileged children
• Organizing medical missions to provide healthcare to underserved areas
• Partnering with local organizations to address social issues

Through these initiatives, we strive to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and communities. By showing love and compassion, we aim to create a lasting impact and bring hope to those who need it most.

Global Impact

While our primary focus is on Romania, Living Hope International also extends its reach to other parts of the world. We partner with like-minded organizations and churches to support missions and outreach efforts in various countries. Through our global initiatives, we have been involved in projects such as disaster relief, clean water initiatives, and education programs in developing nations.
